Job summary

Contract Options is seeking a Weekend Chef in Oxford to prepare home-cooked meals for up to 22 residents daily in a hostel setting. The role requires working Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm to 6pm, with pay at £15.00–£15.50 per hour.

The position is an 8–12 week temporary contract with the possibility of becoming permanent. Weekly pay and holiday pay are included. Basic DBS is required initially; Enhanced DBS will be arranged if the role becomes permanent.

Weekend Chef Oxford

We are looking for a Weekend Chef to join our team at a hostel in Oxford.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing home-cooked meals, mainly from scratch, for up to 22 residents per day. Residents place their food orders in the morning.

You will be working independently, so you must be confident working on your own. The role also includes kitchen porter (KP) duties and general kitchen responsibilities.

Job Details

• Saturday & Sunday, 12pm-6pm
• £15.00 - £15.50 per hour
• Up to 22 meals per day
• 8 to 12 week temporary contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent
• Paid weekly, plus holiday pay
