Job summary

Saputo Dairy UK is hiring experienced Production Operators for the Wensleydale Creamery site in Hawes, Yorkshire Dales. You will join a team, support multiple lines, and progress to guide teams while upholding Health & Safety, Quality, and Cost targets.

Expect to work four 10-hour days, with a rotating day off, and an hourly rate of £13.88. Full training on products and processes is provided, alongside a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Clear communication in English.
• Experience with manual handling.
• Ability to follow standard procedures.
• Adequate numeracy and literacy for the role.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 and Health & Safety Level 2 desirable.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through production roles on cheese lines and packaging.
• Operate ENE filler or vacuum packers and identify faults.
• Assist on cheese room and packing areas with CCP paperwork.
• Adhere to SOPs, site policies and SSOW.
• Meet KPIs and food hygiene requirements.
• Conduct line quality checks and report issues.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitisation as per work instructions.
