Job summary

Saputo Dairy UK is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our Hawes site. You will maintain complex cheesemaking equipment, execute preventative maintenance, and support project engineering for new or second-hand gear. The role spans mechanical and electrical tasks, with a focus on safety, efficiency and compliance.

Join an inclusive, growth-driven team at a leading UK dairy producer, with shift patterns across 6am-6pm or 8am-5pm on weekends and strong focus on Lean and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining processing machines and packaging lines.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, motors, drives and panel wiring.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on cheesemaking equipment.
• Maintain site facilities and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Assist with project engineering, installations and commissioning of new/second-hand equipment.
• Ensure day-to-day statutory and legal compliance is met.
