Job summary

B&Q Exeter is hiring a Checkouts Customer Advisor for a permanent part‑time role at 15.75 hours per week. You will handle tills, help customers, and support click & collect while keeping displays tidy. Shift pattern runs Monday–Sunday, 7.00am–10.00pm, with a store‑wide rota.

The position offers a competitive hourly rate of £13.37, including a small location allowance. A friendly, team‑oriented attitude and willingness to learn are essential; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing; eager to help customers.
• Willing to learn new tech and processes.
• Able to work as part of a team and on a rota including weekends/evenings/bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate the checkout tills and process sales.
• Assist customers with questions and click & collect.
• Set up and maintain displays; keep store looking presentable.
