Qualifications

Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer with proven ability to lead teams.
Experience directing building structures projects from concept through detailed design and construction.
Strong knowledge of structural materials, foundations, design standards and assessments.
Demonstrated capability in work-winning, bid/tender submissions and client engagement.

Responsibilities

Establish, develop and grow the structural engineering team in Exeter.
Provide technical guidance and assurance across structural projects.
Steer project and design management for multidisciplinary commissions to meet quality, programme and commercial targets.
Review calculations, drawings and specifications.
Develop engineers' career progression and foster a high-performing culture.
Identify opportunities and lead bid and tender activities and client relationships.
