Job summary

Manhire Associates are seeking a Chartered Structural Engineer based in the Exeter area who will take on the lead role in project delivery and structural design, and will mentor engineers and technicians. The successful candidate will be working out of their expanding Exeter office and will maintain strong links with our other UK offices.

You will lead the project team, drive delivery to tight timescales, and maintain commercial awareness throughout projects.

Qualifications

• Qualified to degree level (or equivalent) in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• Chartered membership of the ICE or IStructE.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience.
• Able to manage a team, work to tight timescales and maintain commercial awareness throughout a project.

Responsibilities

• Lead role in project delivery and structural design.
• Manage engineers and technicians; provide mentoring.
• Maintain links with other UK offices.
