Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Buildings & Places seeks a Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer to deliver diverse project portfolios across the UK and abroad. You will manage and design structures for high-profile clients, ensuring BIM standards and effective client communication.

The role involves mentoring junior staff, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and possibly security clearance. Hybrid work and international opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer with MIStructE or MICE.
• Led delivery of multiple small/medium projects.
• Experience in design of common structural materials.
• Proficient with Tekla Structural Designer and Robot Structural Analysis.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multiple projects or parts of larger projects to completion, within budget and to program.
• Ensure the provision of efficient high quality structural engineering design.
• Mentor junior team members and manage project teams.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors and design teams.
• Be aware of and work in compliance with BIM standards, Digital Plan of Work and BIM Execution plan.
• Build client relationships and identify business opportunities.
• Flexibility in work location to meet project needs.
