Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer to deliver multiple projects within the Buildings & Places practice for the UK and abroad. You will lead design, ensure BIM compliance, manage client relationships and mentor junior staff.

The role requires delivering projects to schedule and budget, supporting business development, and working across multidisciplinary teams in a flexible, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Chartered Engineer with MIStructE or MICE status.
• Proven experience leading structural engineering delivery of small/medium projects.
• Experience designing common structural materials and understanding current standards.
• Experience working across multidisciplinary teams and projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multiple projects within budget and schedule.
• Provide efficient high-quality structural engineering design.
• Ensure compliance with BIM standards and project BIM Execution plans.
• Be the primary point of contact for clients, contractors and design teams.
• Mentor junior team members and support chartership training.
• Manage time and possibly lead a small project team.
• Develop client relationships and identify business opportunities.
