Job summary

H&H Land & Estates, part of the H&H Group, seeks an experienced Chartered Surveyor to join our Carlisle-based Land Agency team. The role offers a challenging mix of rural and residential property work across Cumbria and neighbouring areas, with travel as required.

You will advise landowners and clients, carry out valuations, rural sales and lettings, tenancy agreements, and advise on environmental schemes. A flexible, proactive approach and a UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in rural and agricultural property matters.
• Ability to manage a broad portfolio of work.
• Strong client engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise landowners, agricultural clients and residential property owners on property matters.
• Carry out valuations for secured loans, taxation, estate planning and disputes.
• Manage rural property sales and lettings.
• Assist with compensation and utilities work and tenancy agreements.
• Advise on environmental and countryside stewardship schemes.
