Job summary

KSNPM is expanding its building surveying team in Manchester and London, offering a hands-on role with exposure to high-profile projects across commercial, residential and public sectors.

You will lead condition surveys, asset planning, and lifecycle programmes while working closely with project managers, cost consultants and clients to deliver technical excellence and commercially aware solutions.

Qualifications

• MRICS status and a degree in Building Surveying are essential.
• Broad building surveying experience across PPM, lifecycle and asset planning.
• Experience in project management and contract administration with JCT/SBCC knowledge.
• Awareness of CDM Regulations and health and safety best practices.
• Strong report writing, organisation and client communication.
• Proactive, solution-focused approach and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse range of building surveying instructions across projects.
• Conduct condition and PPM surveys, lifecycle planning and asset management.
• Perform technical due diligence, building pathology and defect diagnosis.
• Prepare reinstatement cost assessments, specifications and schedules of work.
• Oversee refurbishment and remediation projects, contract administration and dilapidations.
• Provide clear client reporting and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
