Job summary

Faithorn Farrell Timms is seeking a MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor specializing in Fire Safety to join the Field Team in Orpington. The role involves preparing planning and building regs submissions, producing tender documents, and supporting Party Wall matters on diverse projects.

You will manage selected projects, conduct site inspections, and generate technical reports while ensuring HSE compliance. The firm is part of the Celnor Group and offers a strong benefits package and ongoing

Qualifications

• MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor with knowledge of building surveying practices.
• Experience with planning and building regulations approvals.
• Strong contract administration and site inspection experience.
• Proven ability to produce technical reports and advise on fire safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit planning and building regulations applications.
• Prepare tender specifications, analyze tenders, and report on tenders.
• Assist with Party Wall matters under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996.
• Manage projects, including stock condition surveys and Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs).
• Support senior surveyors with contract administration duties under JCT contracts.
• Carry out site inspections and investigations, diagnosing defects through testing, sampling, and opening-up works.
• Produce clear, accurate reports on building condition and recommended remedial works, while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety policies.
