THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity for a CHARTERED BUILDING SURVEYOR at the Project Surveyor or Senior Project Surveyor level, with some PROJECT MANAGEMENT experience, to join a firm of multidisciplinary consultants working on projects mainly in central London.
Their office is located in the City of London.
You will work closely with a variety of clients and managing agents.
Your duties will include building surveys, report writing, project management, contract administration, etc.
Experience with party wall matters would be beneficial but is not essential.
This role involves joining a team of three, including a Director, an Associate, and an Assistant Surveyor.
The building surveying department is experiencing high demand and is expected to grow, offering good prospects for promotion for an ambitious chartered building surveyor.
The company is a construction consultancy providing services such as Building Surveying, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, and Commercial Management.
They serve a diverse range of clients in both the private and public sectors, handling projects in residential, commercial, infrastructure, and other sectors.
You should be a Building Surveyor at either Project Surveyor or Senior Project Surveyor level.
You must be chartered with RICS and have experience with a firm of chartered building surveyors or other multidisciplinary consultants.
Some project management experience is required.
You should have a good understanding of the building process to effectively meet with clients and manage projects at all stages.
A stable work record with around two or more years of PQE is preferred.
Excellent written and spoken English skills are essential, along with confidence in dealing with people at all levels.
The salary range is £55,000 to £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus pension, discretionary bonus, and other benefits.
