Residential Building Surveyor – AssocRICS / MRICS / FRICS – Home working – Hiring in West London.

Established over eight years ago, my client is a well-respected, friendly team of around 20 professionals, committed to delivering a quality service to their customers.

They have a genuine focus on quality over quantity, with you carrying out four to five surveys per week on average, depending on the survey type.

Offering:

• Basic salary: £60-£78,000 per annum approx.
• Nest pension contributions in line with government requirements.
• 23 days holiday, plus bank holidays, plus a closure period between Christmas and New Year with no deduction.
• RICS memberships paid.
• Lucrative bonus scheme: Further details to be explained upon enquiry.
• Company pays RICS fees and offers salary sacrifice for an electric car and 45p per mile. Monthly team days in the office include training sessions.
• Approximate bonus: 8%-15% of salary, paid twice a year (April and September), based on previous financial performance.

• Average report turnaround time is 3-5 working days.

• Additional software includes Zoho CRM (transitioning in March) and Bright HR for expenses.
• Long-term progression opportunities from Senior Surveyor up to Associate Director, based on fee income, performance reviews, network development, and training contributions.
• Average fee per survey: approximately £1000+VAT.
• The team includes in-house admin and Surveyor Support, handling quoting, research, client inquiries, and appointment bookings, allowing surveyors to focus on inspections and report writing.
• Monthly team training and support sessions, including team lunches.
