Job description

Residential Building Surveyor – AssocRICS / MRICS / FRICS – Home working – Hiring in East London.

Established over eight years ago, my client is a well-respected, friendly team of around 20 professionals, committed to delivering a quality service to their customers.

They have a genuine focus on quality over quantity, with surveyors carrying out four to five surveys per week on average, depending on the survey type.

Offering:

1. Basic salary: £60-£78,000 per annum approx.
2. Nest pension contributions in line with government requirements.
3. 23 days holiday, plus bank holidays, plus a close period between Christmas and New Year with no deduction.
4. RICS memberships paid.
5. Lucrative bonus scheme: further details available upon enquiry.
6. Company pays RICS fees and offers salary sacrifice for an electric car and 45p per mile. Monthly team days in the office include training sessions.
7. Approximate bonus: 8%-15% of salary, paid twice a year (April and September), based on previous financial performance.

Additional information:

1. Average report turnaround time: 3-5 working days.
2. Reporting software: Go Report.
3. Additional software: Zoho CRM (transitioning in March), Bright HR for expenses, etc.
4. Long-term progression opportunities from Senior Surveyor up to Associate Director, based on fee income, performance reviews, networking, and training of junior staff.
5. Average fee per survey: approx. £1000+VAT.
6. Support teams include admin and Surveyor Support, handling quoting, research, client inquiries, liaising with agents, and appointment bookings. Surveyors focus on inspections and report writing.
7. Monthly team training and support sessions with team-building activities.
