Job summary

Age UK is recruiting a Shop Supervisor for our Pickering shop to deliver an excellent retail service and a great shopping experience for customers. You will help maximise shop sales, run day-to-day operations, and deputise for the Shop Manager when needed.

The role includes Sundays and requires strong cash handling, teamwork and a positive, professional presentation. The successful candidate will manage stock, displays and store tidiness, while upholding Age UK's values and ensuring a welcoming

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role (A, I).
• Experience of cash handling (A, I).
• Ability to work as part of an effective team (A, I).
• Ability to lone work when needed (A, I).
• Ability to move items weighing up to 10kg with adjustments (I).

Responsibilities

• Support with sales and stock rotation.
• Organise displays and keep the store tidy and accessible.
• Deputise for Shop Manager/Assistant Manager in their absence.
