Job summary

Blue Cross UK in Andover is seeking a Retail Cover Supervisor on a zero-hours contract to support a busy charity shop. You will assist volunteers, welcome customers, and maximise fundraising through Gift Aid and pricing.

The role involves maintaining an attractive, safe shop environment and coordinating stock flow to drive sales. The ideal candidate will have retail supervision experience, strong customer service skills and flexibility to cover varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Retail experience, including some time spent supervising or managing.
• Confident working with a range of customers.
• Flexibility and willingness to work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Support and motivate our volunteers.
• Help customers feel welcome (dogs included).
• Keep the shop floor attractive and safe for sale.
• Ensure donations are processed, priced and ready to sell.
• Bring energy, organisation and a sense of humour to the shift.
