Naomi House & Jacksplace in Chineham is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to run the charity shop alongside the Shop Manager and volunteers, delivering a friendly customer experience and supporting income generation for local children and families.

This part-time role involves supervising volunteers, merchandising, banking, stock control, and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety. Flexible weekday/weekend shifts with 28 hours weekly.

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day supervision and training of volunteers, delegating tasks by experience.
• Produce a weekly rota to ensure the shop is fully manned during opening hours.
• Source and price adequate donated stock aligned to the business.
• Ensure financial controls: till reconciliation, daily takings banking, weekly sales reporting.
• Ensure premises comply with Health & Safety legislation.
• Manage daily fire risk duties including means of escape and fire safety logs.
