Parallel by Pasture Cardiff is seeking a talented Chef de Partie to join a counter-style, small plates kitchen inspired by bold flavours and seasonal produce. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, delivering precision dishes and collaborating closely with a passionate team.

You’ll earn £12.90 per hour plus £3.80–£4 per hour in Tronc, with 100% of Tronc distributed to staff. This role offers growth within the Pasture family and a vibrant dining experience in Cardiff.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in quality kitchens with fresh, seasonal ingredients.
• Experience working in a fast-paced open kitchen and maintaining accuracy.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and contribute to a positive team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute a range of small plates with precision and flair.
• Run your section efficiently during busy services and keep it organized.
• Work with charcoal and other techniques to deliver bold seasonal dishes.
• Support the kitchen team to ensure smooth, high-quality service.
• Prep and maintain mise en place to the highest standards.
• Collaborate with the team to contribute ideas for evolving menus.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness.
