Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a full-time Chaperone at the new Community Diagnostic Centre in Wisbech. You will work within a multi-disciplinary team, assisting with patient care during investigations and supporting administrative tasks.

This role champions patient safety, upholds NHS values, and may require training at Addenbrookes and occasional cover at Ely. 37.5 hours per week with shifts 8am-8pm as the CDC expands.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures including pre-procedural checks.
• Assist with clinical observations and ensure devices are ready for use.
• Organise patients and liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to maintain workflow.
• Provide administrative support as required.
• Act as a patient safety champion and uphold NHS values.
