Job Overview:

The Esco Channel Manager is responsible for developing and managing the company's sales through indirect channels like resellers, distributors, and partners. You will work to increase revenue and market share by fostering strong relationships with these partners, ensuring they are equipped and motivated to sell the company's products or services. This involves developing channel strategies, managing partner programs, and driving joint marketing efforts.

Job title:Channel Manager

Location: Home based, with travel across the UK and Ireland. Also required to attend the Company's premises or any other location when requested.

Direct Manager: General Manager

Direct Reports: Equipment Pre and Post SalesTeam

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Manage Channel Partner Programs: This includes identifying potential partners, onboarding new partners, and providing them with the necessary resources and support to succeed.
  • Foster Strong Partner Relationships: Building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with channel partners to grow sales and achieving mutual goals.
  • Drive Sales and Revenue Growth: Working with the Sales Manager and General Manager to Increase sales through the channel, by developing joint marketing campaigns, providing training and support, and identifying new sales opportunities.
  • Develop and Implement Channel Strategies: Create and executing channel strategies that align with the company's overall sales and marketing goals.
  • Monitor and Analyse Channel Performance: Track and analyse channel performance data to identify areas for improvement and ensure that channel partners are achieving their targets.
  • Provide Support to Partners: Providing sales and marketing resources and information to ensure our channel partners can sell our products and services effectively. Provide technical support to partners for tenders and frameworks.
  • Negotiate and Manage Contracts: Work with the General Manager to negotiate and manage contracts with our channel partners, ensuring that they are aligned with company policies and objectives.
  • Manage Channel Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with our channel partners is essential for building trust and fostering strong relationships

Key Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building and maintaining relationships with partners.
  • Ability to develop and execute channel strategies that align with company objectives.
  • Ability to track and analyse channel performance data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for communicating with partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise in the channel.
  • Several years of experience in channel management or supplier relationship management
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Strong understanding of the industry and market trends
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Experience with CRM software
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing partnerships
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with channel partners and attend industry events
  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific related field
