Job summary

The Fca is unveiling a new leadership role at the heart of the technology and change function. You will lead a team of six and act as second in command to the Head of Change, with the autonomy to make decisions you believe in.

You will drive information security practices, shape the infrastructure, and guide delivery using Agile methods, while developing a high-performing team and supporting new starters for success.

Qualifications

• You’ve managed people in a technical or multi-disciplinary team.
• You’ve got security experience of any kind: cyber, infrastructure, Microsoft or Azure security, Cyber Essentials or ISO audits.
• You understand infrastructure and how it supports a growing business.
• You’ve delivered in sprints or worked in an agile way.
• You coach rather than command, and you enjoy helping others grow.

Responsibilities

• You'll manage the team's delivery, including sprint planning, delivery calendars, milestones and roadmaps.
• You'll take ownership of information security, helping to establish and embed security practices across the business with full backing from the wider leadership team.
• You'll help shape the technology infrastructure, making sure it can support the business as it continues to grow.
• You'll identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and AI, focusing on practical changes that make a genuine difference.
• And importantly, you'll build and develop a high-performing team, creating an environment where people feel supported, challenged to think bigger and new starters are set up for success.
