Job summary

Senior Manager, Technology & Change Risk is a hybrid role based in London/Home Counties, offering up to £95k. The role leads second-line oversight of technology, data and change risk across a multi-year transformation for a regulated financial services organisation.

You’ll challenge first-line teams, brief ExCo with clear risk insight, design scenario analysis and shape a pragmatic risk approach. You’ll lead a small risk team and collaborate with executive stakeholders to drive decisive actions.

Qualifications

• Experience of technology, change or operational risk in a regulated financial services environment.
• Ability to move quickly from strategic framing to detailed analysis.
• Confidence presenting to senior executives.
• Understanding of cloud, data and programme delivery risk.
• Strong written communication.
• Pragmatic mindset and energy to drive actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead second-line oversight of technology, data and change risk across a multi-year transformation programme.
• Challenge first-line teams on programme, cloud and data risk with commercial judgement.
• Brief executive stakeholders, including senior technology and data leadership, with clear risk insight.
• Design and run scenario analysis that starts from business strategy.
• Shape a proportionate technology and operational risk approach that fits the organisation’s maturity.
• Lead and develop a small risk team.
• Bring momentum: pull stakeholders together, unblock issues and drive actions to completion.
