Contract Opportunity: Change Manager – Payments (Acquiring)

We are hiring 2 x experienced Change Managers to support a high-impact go-to-market programme on the acquiring side of the payments industry.

These are key contract roles within a complex, regulated environment - ideal for professionals who understand the nuances of merchant acquiring, transaction processing, and how to land operational and commercial change across global or regional markets.

Role Overview:

You’ll play a critical role in preparing the business for the launch of new payment product. Working across technology, operations, sales, compliance, and commercial teams, you will help land change effectively and ensure readiness across all impacted areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the change workstream of a go-to-market initiative on the acquiring side of payments.
• Conduct impact assessments, readiness planning, stakeholder mapping, and communications planning.
• Work with SMEs, programme leads, and senior stakeholders to identify change risks, dependencies, and opportunities.
• Ensure front-line functions (sales, operations, and support) are enabled and ready to deliver post-launch.
• Design and deliver change interventions including training, documentation, and internal comms.
• Align change plans with compliance and regulatory frameworks.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Change Manager in payments, ideally in the acquiring space (merchant services, POS, transaction processing, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of go-to-market processes in financial services or fintech.
• Experience working in matrixed organisations with a mix of tech, product, and commercial stakeholders.
• Ability to work at pace, manage ambiguity, and influence across global or cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
