Job summary

BT Group is seeking a Business Assurance Analyst to strengthen risk oversight for strategic change across its UK operations. You will assess customer, financial, operational and regulatory risk, develop assurance requirements, and work with project squads to implement controls that protect revenue and customer experience.

You will use SQL and data analytics to verify outcomes, challenge plans, and drive evidence-based decisions.

Qualifications

Experience in risk, assurance, controls, or governance with ability to identify risks and mitigate them.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to break down complex processes and validate outcomes.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication, with experience in agile squads or cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Lead discovery activities for strategic product, process or change, mapping customer journeys and end-to-end service delivery.
Perform risk and control assessments to identify risks and required mitigations.
Provide independent challenge and risk-based recommendations to project teams and senior stakeholders.
Design, build and implement assurance controls within project squads for ongoing monitoring.
Support assurance commitments through the full change lifecycle from discovery to implementation and warranty.
