Job summary

England Rugby is recruiting for a League Operations Executive - Champ Rugby to oversee day-to-day operations, MOS standards, and relationships with Champ Rugby clubs. You will coordinate across committees, work with medical, legal, and finance teams, and help ensure compliant, smooth delivery of matches and finals.

The role is based at Allianz Stadium with some home-working flexibility, offering a clear path to support the growth and integrity of Champ Rugby within the RFU framework.

Qualifications

• Essential: understanding of rugby union in England and the ecosystem.
• Essential: stakeholder management and relationship-building with internal/external parties.
• Essential: ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve conflicts calmly.
• Essential: confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Essential: self-motivated, able to work independently and contribute to league strategy.
• Essential: strong data handling and administrative accuracy.
• Desirable: experience with a National Governing Body or sports league.

Responsibilities

• Oversee MOS auditing of club delivery to ensure transparency and timeliness.
• Build relationships with Champ Rugby Club stakeholders to drive MOS improvements.
• Develop viable solutions and decide when to escalate or validate proposals.
• Coordinate Champ Rugby Board sub-committees and report to the Board.
• Collaborate with RFU Medical, legal, finance and other teams on operational matters.
• Support production partners to ensure smooth live match coverage and compliance.
• Assist in delivering end-of-season play-offs and other events.
