Job summary

Sale Sharks Foundation is seeking a Rugby Events & Development Manager to lead the planning, coordination and growth of our events and participant experiences across the North West. You will oversee matchday activities, camps, school delivery and community rugby initiatives, building strong relationships with schools and clubs while supporting income generation.

You will design, develop and manage programmes, ensuring high-quality delivery, safeguarding and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and delivering sport, coaching, or community-based sessions and events (e.g., camps, tours, match days).
• Proven ability to manage programmes with KPI targets and reporting.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with schools, clubs and partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of Rugby Development events and programmes across the North West.
• Coordinate matchday experiences and community delivery with internal teams.
• Develop partnerships and funding opportunities to grow participation.
• Manage delivery staff, data, bookings and payments with attention to safeguarding.
