Job summary

Shaw Trust in Peterborough is recruiting for a role managing a caseload of participants in the community and CFO (Creating Future Opportunities) Activity Hubs, supporting them to engage and break down barriers to successful resettlement.

You will facilitate delivery at pop up Satellite Hubs across the region, build partnerships, and help participants progress toward education, training and employment while upholding safeguarding and professional boundaries.

Qualifications

• ICT proficiency including major Microsoft applications.
• Level 2 English & Maths or equivalent experience.
• Commitment to rehabilitation of prisoners with experience supporting prisoners and prison leavers with complex needs.
• Skilled in managing challenging behaviour, building effective partnerships, and achieving performance targets while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills including active listening and motivational skills; proactive and solution focussed taking the initiative to create opportunities.

Essential

You will have:

• ICT proficiency including all major Microsoft applications Level 2 English & Maths or equivalent experience
• A commitment to the rehabilitation of prisoners with experience of supporting prisoners and prison leavers with complex needs, helping them overcome barriers and progress towards education, training, and employment.
• Skilled in managing challenging behaviour, building effective partnerships, and achieving performance targets while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills including active listening and motivational skills to support those from a range of backgrounds. Proactive and solution focussed taking the initiative to create opportunities

In addition to DBS and reference checks, the successful candidate must pass HMPPS vetting as a mandatory requirement of the role.

This role is onsite at Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
