Job summary

National Energy System Operator (NESO) is seeking an EMR Analyst to manage key commercial operations for the Contracts for Difference scheme. You will support applicants, prepare guidance, and maintain systems ahead of annual rounds, with hybrid work options from Wokingham/Warwick and beyond.

The role emphasizes regulatory knowledge, strong data skills, and customer-facing duties, including phone and email support. Visa requirements apply to the UK context.

Responsibilities

• Develop a sound understanding of the CfD regulations and NESO systems, producing guidance and delivering training for industry and the wider team.
• Work alongside the team to deliver successful annual CfD rounds.
• Support the preparation and running of key processes from assessment to auctions.
• Assess eligibility of Applicants entering into the Round, utilising SOPs and CfD Frameworks.
• Manage data files and utilise systems in order to run the Round.
• Proactive in identifying and correcting issues in data utilised.
• Build trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders, managing queries via telephone and email.
