Job summary

PhysicsX is building an AI-driven simulation stack and seeks a CFD Engineer (Delivery) to craft high-fidelity models and work with customers on-site in multiple regions, with a London base and hybrid work.

You’ll collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers, contribute to simulation pipelines, and develop workflows from geometry clean-up to post-processing, enabling design optimisation and DoE studies.

Qualifications

• Growing foundation in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and multiphase modelling.
• Ability to apply core engineering principles to real-world problems under guidance.
• Working knowledge of Star-CCM+, OpenFOAM, or Fluent; CAD modelling with NX/CATIA; Python/Java.

Responsibilities

• Define and solve engineering challenges with Data Scientists and ML Engineers.
• Build CAE models and integrate into AI-tools for customers on-site.
• Contribute to simulation pipeline automation for design optimisation and DoE studies.
• Assist in creating datasets for ML model training and performance evaluation.
• Support customer engagements and present results clearly under guidance.
