Job summary

ABM UK at Viking Shopping Centre is seeking a Security Officer to patrol and monitor the premises, ensuring a safe, clean environment and assisting with daily centre operations. The role is 40 hours per week on a rota covering five days from seven, including days and nights.

The ideal candidate holds an SIA Door Supervisor Licence, delivers excellent customer service, communicates clearly, and stays calm under pressure.

Qualifications

• SIA Door Supervisor Licence is required.
• Experience in shopping centre security is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patrol and monitor shopping centre premises to ensure safety and security.
• Maintain high cleaning standards and assist with daily centre operations.
• Coordinate with Facilities and Centre Managers on safety practices and regulations.
• Report incidents and cooperate with emergency services when needed.
• Manage access control, CCTV monitoring, and escorting individuals as required.
