Job summary

Our client, a fast-growing automotive retail business in the UK, is seeking a Centre Manager for their Southampton centre. You will oversee day-to-day operations, lead the centre and workshop teams, drive sales, and ensure exceptional customer service.

Strong people management and automotive background are required, plus a valid UK driving licence. The role offers a competitive basic salary (£38,000–£42,000) with uncapped OTE (£10,000) and a structured benefits package.

Job description

Our client who is one of the UK's fastest growing fast-fit automotive business, are currently looking for a Centre Manager based at their retail centre in Southampton.

As a Centre Manager you would be responsible for the day-to-day running of the centre, managing and motivating the centre & workshop teams, driving sales performance and ensuring customers receive a high standard of service. To be applicable for this role you must have experience managing people and have a strong background within the Automotive industry.

Location: Southampton

Pay / salary: Basic: £38,000 to £42,000. OTE: Uncapped and realistic £10,000.

Shift and schedule: 08:30 - 17:30 Monday to Friday and Saturdays 08:30 - 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

Centre Manager Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate the centre and workshop teams and drive sales performance

To be a Centre Manager you will need

• Valid UK driving licence - Essential
• Previous Centre Manager / Assistant Centre Manager experience within automotive, tyres, fast-fit or a similar environment
• Strong commercial and sales background
• Good automotive and mechanical knowledge
• Team-management experience
• Understanding of relevant Health & Safety requirements
• Strong customer-service and account-management skills
