Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking a Centre Manager for a growing automotive service centre in Plymouth. You will drive financial results, deliver exceptional customer service and oversee day-to-day operations.

The role is full-time and permanent, offering a salary up to £40,000 plus performance-based bonus. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 am–5:00 pm with alternating Saturdays 8:30 am–4:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Centre Manager / Assistant Manager within a fast-fit or automotive environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the centre and coordinate workload to achieve business targets efficiently
• Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high standards across the centre
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of 12 staff, including technicians and front-of-house colleagues
• Drive sales performance, maximise revenue opportunities and manage overall centre profitability
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, including stock control, stock security, cost control and operational standards
• Maintain centre presentation and company standards
• Monitor centre performance and implement improvements where needed

Centre Manager role for a growing automotive service centre, suited to an experienced manager who can drive strong financial results, deliver exceptional customer service and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Pay / salary: Up to £40,000 basic per annum, plus performance-based bonus]

Job type: Permanent / full-time role

Shift and schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and alternating (1 in 2) Saturdays, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
