Role Overview

What will you be doing?

As Centre Manager, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and motivating your TPS team to deliver and achieve the business plans and objectives of the Centre. You will ensure excellence in customer service, develop strategic plans, and ensure all processes are in place to run a successful TPS Centre.

  1. Ensure that the Centre targets and business objectives are achieved.
  2. Translate overall sales targets into departmental targets and set challenging but achievable goals with first line management.
  3. Motivate, recognize, and incentivize the team.
  4. Create Personal Development Plans, monitor progress, and provide developmental or corrective support where required.
  5. Develop a Manpower Plan and implement a succession plan for your centre.
  6. Foster a customer-centric culture within the business.
  7. Maintain high customer satisfaction levels through the team.
  8. Work within the sales strategy to increase revenues by devising and implementing sales plans.
  9. Regularly monitor business performance, identify improvement opportunities, and take corrective actions.
  10. Analyze market data to understand potential sales opportunities.
  11. Work towards achieving the business plan and budget, controlling costs within set parameters, including Gross Margin levels.
  12. Ensure compliance with business standards, processes, financial, legal, and ethical guidelines (including Warranty).
  13. Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and ensure overall security of stock and premises.

TPS is part of the Volkswagen Group, which includes Audi, SEAT, KODA, Volkswagen passenger cars, and Commercial Vehicles. It is a national network with a 1,500-strong workforce and a management team committed to creating a motivating and inclusive workplace that recognizes and rewards employees, encouraging learning and development.

Launched as a new brand concept in 2006, TPS operates on an Agency Model, stocking and selling on behalf of Volkswagen Group UK. The brand has experienced rapid growth both financially and in the number of Centres nationwide.
