Job summary

Octane Recruitment’s client is seeking a Centre Manager for their Gloucester centre. You will run the day-to-day operations, manage the centre and workshop teams, drive sales performance and ensure customers receive a high standard of service.

You will need experience managing people and a strong automotive background, plus a valid UK driving licence. The role offers £40,000–£42,000 base with uncapped OTE and extensive training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence – Essential.
• Experience as Centre Manager / Assistant Centre Manager in automotive, tyres, fast-fit or similar environment.
• Strong commercial and sales background.
• Good automotive and mechanical knowledge.
• Team-management experience.
• Understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
• Strong customer-service and account-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate the centre and workshop teams and drive sales performance.
• Run the day-to-day operation of the centre.
• Maximise customer conversion and ensure strong customer service.
• Manage stock control, deliveries, branch assets and takings.
• Ensure workshop equipment and machinery are properly maintained.
• Maintain Health & Safety and operational standards.
• Coach and train team members where required.

Job description

Our client who is one of the UK's fastest growing fast-fit automotive business, are currently looking for a Centre Manager based at their retail centre in Gloucester. As a Centre Manager you would be responsible for the day-to-day running of the centre, managing and motivating the centre & workshop teams, driving sales performance and ensuring customers receive a high standard of service. To be applicable for this role you must have experience managing people and have a strong background within the Automotive industry.

Location: Gloucester

Pay / salary: Basic: £40,000 to £42,000

OTE: Uncapped and realistic £10,000

Shift and schedule: 08:30 – 17:30 Monday to Friday and Saturdays 08:30 – 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

Centre Manager Responsibilities:
