Job summary

Ai Bio is seeking a hands-on cell biology scientist for a lab‑based, full‑time role at King’s Cross, London. You will build and maintain the human cell models behind our screens, from iPSCs to a validated, traceable bank used in screening campaigns.

This role centers on CRISPR editing, clonal line generation, differentiation into neurons and other lineages, and rigorous QC. You will document history and protocols so the lab can run automated workflows and produce high‑quality, repeatable data.

Qualifications

• PhD in cell biology, stem cell biology, neuroscience, or MSc with 2–3 years relevant lab work.
• Hands-on experience culturing iPSCs or other demanding cells.
• CRISPR genome editing and clonal line generation with genotyping.
• Excellent aseptic technique and meticulous record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, validate, and bank human cell lines for screening campaigns.
• Generate CRISPR-edited lines including knockouts/knock-ins.
• Differentiate iPSCs into neurons and other lineages for assays.
• Build and manage cell banks with traceable records.
• Develop protocols and move to plate-based formats for automation.
• Collaborate with screening, imaging, and computational teams.
