Job summary

The Francis Crick Institute in London is seeking a Senior Lab Research Scientist to support the Gutierrez lab's efforts in developing iPSC‑based models of lung infection and treatment. The role focuses on generating tools and performing cell‑based experiments, with emphasis on culture, differentiation and characterization of iPSCs into lung cells.

You will join a diverse, collaborative team and apply advanced iPSC technologies; experience with CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing is desirable and helpful.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in human iPSC culture, differentiation and reprogramming.
• Experience in CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing is desirable.
• Deep technical knowledge and hands‑on expertise in culture, characterization and differentiation of human iPSCs into lung cells.
