Thomas Franks Ltd in Wokingham is seeking an experienced chef to join our team in a busy school kitchen. You will cook from fresh ingredients, follow brand standards and work to high hygiene and allergen controls.

You will be part of a supportive team, with opportunities to showcase creativity on seasonal menus, and contribute to cost control while delivering excellent meals for pupils and staff. The role covers term time main school and 52-week nursery operations, with a mix of shifts across

Formación

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level is preferred.
• Ability to cook from scratch using fresh ingredients and follow brand standards.
• Understand basics of food cost and wastage management.
• Adherence to Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Work well in a team of chefs providing catering services to pupils and teachers.
• Produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following brand standards.
• Ensure food standards are adhered to and wastage is controlled.
