Zusammenfassung

Adsyst Automation Ltd is seeking an experienced CDM Advisor to join the QHSE team and support projects across the UK water sector. You will manage CDM documentation, supplier and subcontractor oversight, site audits, and environmental reporting, ensuring compliance and accurate cost recovery within bids and execution.

The role is full-time with hybrid working, requiring collaboration with project, sales, operations and site teams to deliver safe, compliant and cost-effective project delivery.

Qualifikationen

• Understanding of CDM requirements and principal contractor responsibilities.
• Experience working on project sites with site teams, subcontractors and clients.
• Ability to carry out audits and follow through corrective actions.
• Practical knowledge of health, safety, quality and environmental procedures.
• Electrical knowledge to support technical discussions and pre-sales site visits.
• Commercial awareness related to pricing, cost recovery and project compliance requirements.
• Strong communication with cross-functional teams.
• Organised and able to manage a varied workload across multiple projects.

Aufgaben

• Prepare, maintain and support CDM documentation for projects (health and safety files, communications plans, design risk registers).
• Support principal contractor compliance requirements and risk management per CDM regulations.
• Prepare CDM reports, advice notes and project correspondence for internal and client use.
• Carry out regular site audits (1–2 per month) and follow up findings.
• Supervise and audit subcontractors for compliance with standards.
• Support sales/estimating with early-stage CDM cost input for quotations.
• Assist with environmental reporting and year-on-year data requests.
• Provide site management support on principal contractor projects where needed.
• Contribute to accurate recovery of QHSE, CDM and contractor costs in pricing.
• Investigate office and site accidents/incidents.
• Focus on high-complexity projects with greater risk and compliance needs.
• Contribute to audits.
