Job summary
Principal People Recruitment is seeking a Health & Safety / CDM Advisor to support a diverse portfolio of healthcare, housebuilding and industrial projects across the North West. The role combines practical H&S consultancy with Principal Designer responsibilities under CDM 2015, with exposure to NHS estates and major developers.
The position is predominantly home-based, with 2–3 days per week visiting client sites.
Qualifications
- NEBOSH General, Construction Certificate or equivalent.
- Experience in construction/engineering environments.
- Strong understanding of CDM 2015.
- Experience with design teams and Principal Designer responsibilities.
- Full UK driving licence and travel across the North West.
Responsibilities
- Act as Health & Safety Advisor across construction/engineering projects.
- Support clients with CDM 2015 duties and Principal Designer responsibilities.
- Carry out site inspections, audits and compliance visits.
- Provide practical H&S and CDM guidance to clients and teams.
- Review pre-construction information, risk assessments and design information.
- Attend design/project/client meetings and contribute to design risk reviews.
- Build strong client relationships and manage multiple projects.
