Job summary

Adsyst Automation Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced CDM Advisor to join our growing QHSE team, delivering CDM compliance and principal contractor duties across the water sector. The role focuses on planning, pricing, and ensuring proper delivery of health and safety requirements.

You will work with project, sales, operations and site teams; hybrid working available, 37.5 hour week Monday to Friday. Candidates should have site experience and knowledge of CDM regulations.

Qualifications

• Understanding of CDM requirements and principal contractor duties.
• Experience working on project sites with site teams, subcontractors and clients.
• Ability to audit, identify non-conformances and follow through corrective actions.
• Knowledge of health, safety, quality and environmental procedures.
• Electrical knowledge to support technical discussions and pre-sales visits.
• Commercial awareness on pricing, cost recovery and project compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain CDM documentation for projects, including health and safety files and design risk registers.
• Support principal contractor compliance and health-safety risk management under CDM regulations.
• Prepare CDM reports, advice notes and client correspondence.
• Conduct site audits (1-2 per month) and close findings to drive improvements.
• Supervise and audit subcontractors for compliance with standards.
• Provide input on CDM and principal contractor costs for quotations.
• Assist with environmental reporting and year-on-year data requests.
• Support site management on principal contractor projects as needed.
• Assist pre-sales site visits with electrical knowledge.
