Job summary

Anglian Water @one Alliance is recruiting a CDM Advisor to join a hybrid role based in Peterborough, delivering CDM governance across Water Recycling projects in AMP8. You will own CDM processes, ensure compliance, and partner with design teams to embed health and safety from concept through delivery.

Working with client CDM Practitioners and the AW Delivery Routes, you’ll develop tools, deliver H&S training for designers and suppliers, and continuously refine CDM policy and documentation to

Qualifications

• Qualified in engineering or health and safety.
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate preferred.
• Experience in multi-discipline design teams and applying H&S in design.
• Understanding of water industry assets' operations and maintenance (desired).
• Understanding of construction processes and procedures (desired).
• Membership of an appropriate engineering or health & safety institution.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders.
• Problem solving, flexibility and commitment.
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Ensure CDM duties holders are compliant with the CDM regulations.
• Actively promote and achieve H&S objectives.
• Report on CDM procedure compliance to the Health and Safety Manager.
• Ensure pre-construction information is collected and presented to those who require it.
• Develop tools to ensure compliance with H&S legislation and procedures.
• Develop and deliver H&S training packages for designers and suppliers.
• Collaborate with CDMPs deployed in other AW Delivery Routes.
