Job summary

Anglian Water is seeking a CDM Advisor aligned to a designated area to ensure all projects comply with CDM Regulations. You will provide expert guidance on legislation, perform competency assessments and conduct site audits to verify compliance.

The role covers CDM strategies, PCI reviews, and construction phase planning within Maintenance and Engineering teams. You will review risk assessments, risk management, and ensure Safe To Operate requirements are met, while contributing to data

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and ability to apply design risk management.
Experience conducting site audits and competency assessments.
Ability to interpret regulatory guidance and provide practical solutions.

Responsibilities

Apply CDM assessment tools to determine maintenance vs CDM complexity.
Develop and review CDM strategies and duty holders.
Review PCI/design risk management within Maintenance and Engineering.
Assist in Pre-Construction Information preparation and indicate missing information.
Ensure designs comply with MoCDM and STO requirements.
Review Construction Phase Plans and welfare provisions.
Support risk assessments and method statements for high-risk activities.
Conduct CDM audits across design and construction phases.
Provide CDM compliance data for reporting.
