Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a CDD Operational Performance Officer to strengthen our CDD controls and risk management within the Enterprise team. You will drive data-driven improvements across Onboarding and Ongoing Monitoring and lead thematic reviews to ensure robust decisions.

The role requires 5+ years in assurance or controls, strong AML/KYC/CDD knowledge, and the ability to challenge complex decisions. ICA/ACAMS is a bonus; AI in compliance experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience in assurance, quality or controls (e.g., QA, compliance, or internal audit).
• Solid knowledge of AML, KYC, CDD and EDD requirements with ability to assess quality and decisions.
• Experience or learning in AI in Compliance, automation, or technology-enabled risk management.
• Ability to lead thematic reviews, scope testing, and drive remediation oversight.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with pragmatic recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead risk-based quality reviews, thematic assurance activities and controls testing across Onboarding and Ongoing Monitoring.
• Provide expert challenge on complex CDD decisions and document risk assessments and controls weaknesses.
• Identify systemic issues and post-implementation validation of remediation actions.
• Assess automated workflows and AI-enabled processes for data integrity and risk management.
• Build relationships across Advisory, Delivery, Quality, Operations and Risk teams to drive continuous improvement.
