Job summary

CDD Automation Solutions delivers electrical and automation services to its customers. We are seeking a skilled engineer to assemble panel enclosures, inspect electrical systems, and assist with installation and commissioning of industrial control equipment.

You will read schematics, work with project teams, and travel to client sites while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Valid UK work rights required.

Qualifications

• Experience in panel building and site modifications.
• Familiarity with drives, PLCs, and control gear.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel within the UK and internationally.
• NVQ Level 3 Installation and Maintenance.
• City & Guilds qualification.
• ECS Gold Card.
• Right to work in the UK at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of mild and stainless steel control panel enclosures.
• Carry out electrical inspections, testing and fault-finding.
• Support installation and commissioning of industrial control systems and machinery.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and installation docs.
• Work with engineers and customers to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Complete records, test documents and reports; escalate safety concerns.
• Follow health and safety procedures and safe systems of work.
• Travel to customer sites as required; represent the business professionally.

Job description

• Assembly of mild and stainless steel control panel enclosures

• Carry out electrical inspections, testing and fault-finding, identifying and resolving issues safely and efficiently.

• Support the installation and commissioning of industrial control systems, machinery and associated equipment.

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings and installation documentation.

• Work with engineers, project teams and customers to complete work to agreed schedules and quality standards.

• Complete accurate records, test documentation and reports, escalating technical or safety concerns where required.

• Follow health and safety procedures, risk assessments and safe systems of work at all times.

• Travel to customer sites as required and maintain a professional approach when representing the business.

• Panel Wiring up to 415VAC including 3-phase, Flexibar wiring and photo-to-point panel wiring from the schematics.

  Electrical technical qualifications NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation/Maintenance or a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

• Experience in Panel Building and site modifications

• Desire to lead small teams

• Familiarity with drives, PLCs, and control gear

• Valid Driving License and willingness to travel within the UK and internationally, 2391
