Job summary

Construkt RS Ltd. is seeking a hands-on Electrical Installation Engineer to install, commission and support electrical control systems at customer sites. You will work on control panels, PLC equipment and industrial automation, with training available to develop PLC and controls skills.

This field-based role covers the South of England, with most sites within a few hours of the office. Requirements include minimum two years\' electrical installation experience, Level 3 electrical qualifications

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' practical electrical experience in installation, maintenance or service.
• Level 3 electrical qualifications and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations with knowledge of BS 7671:2018.
• ECS Gold Card or eligibility to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Install, wire and commission electrical control panels and systems.
• Support PLC equipment installation, fault-finding and maintenance.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Work alongside project and controls engineers at customer sites.

Electrical Installation Engineer

Location: Camberley, Surrey

Hours: Full-time, 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We're looking for a hands‑on Electrical Installation Engineer to install, commission and support electrical control systems at customer sites. You'll work on varied projects involving control panels, PLC equipment and industrial automation, with training available to develop your PLC and controls engineering skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, wire and commission electrical control panels and systems.
• Support PLC equipment installation, fault‑finding and maintenance.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Work alongside project and controls engineers at customer sites.

Requirements

• Minimum two years' practical electrical experience in installation, maintenance or service.
• Relevant Level 3 electrical qualifications and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Knowledge of BS 7671:2018 and electrical schematics.
• ECS Gold Card or eligibility to obtain one.
• Control panel wiring or commissioning experience is desirable.
