Job summary

CDD Automation Solutions seeks a skilled Electrician to support installation, commissioning, maintenance and fault-finding of industrial automation and control systems across client sites. The role focuses on control panels, PLCs, drives and 3-phase wiring, with opportunities to lead small teams.

You will read schematics and work with engineers to ensure safe, quality delivery while adhering to health and safety standards. A UK driving license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications and hands-on experience with industrial systems.
• Experience in panel building and site Modifications is required.
• Desire to lead small teams and travel within the UK and abroad.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mild and stainless steel control panel enclosures.
• Carry out electrical inspections, testing and fault-finding.
• Support installation and commissioning of industrial control systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams and installation docs.
• Collaborate with engineers, project teams and customers to meet schedules and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate test records and reports, escalating safety concerns.
• Follow health and safety procedures and safe systems of work at all times.
• Travel to customer sites as required and represent the business professionally.
