James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an apprentice Receptionist for our Community Diagnostic Centre at James Paget Hospitals. You will greet patients, manage bookings, answer calls, and support the clinical team in a patient-centered environment.

The role requires flexibility to cover cross-site reception areas at CDCs (James Paget, Northgate, and Oulton Suite) and the main hospital, including weekend rotas on a seven-day service.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, visitors, and staff with a warm and professional demeanour.
• Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling on the Trust PAS system.
• Answer telephone calls and respond to inquiries promptly and courteously.
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
• Assist with administrative tasks and support the clinical team as needed.
