Responsibilities

• Carry out installation (temporary and permanent), maintenance, de-fits, and commissioning of CCTV systems within a designated area.
• Install and commission access control systems within a designated area.
• Configure systems to meet design specifications and customer requirements.
• Respond to fault calls on all types of CCTV systems.
• Plan and respond to routine and reactive call-outs in your area as required.
• Complete all necessary documentation for each job.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks as directed by management to meet business needs.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in CCTV (analogue and IP) and access control installation.
• Strong technical knowledge of CCTV and access control systems, including detection methods and analytics.
• IT literacy.
• Experience mentoring and assisting other engineers.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Good fault-finding skills and practical knowledge of electrical and electronic principles.
• Full driving license (max. 6 points).
• CSCS/ECS Operatives Card (provided by Smartwatch).
• Preferred: CCTV qualifications, PASMA, and IPAF certifications.
