Job Description

Displays good teamwork attitudes while working in a team for maintenance ,repairs, stup or service works, creates an atmosphere of tranquility amongst the team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Under the guidance of AV Supervisor and within the limits of the established Rixos Hotels policies and Operational Standards Manual, his responsibilities are to provide efficient, personalized, courteous and punctual service and technical skill. To work with a team spirit and to ensure that all AV equipment are working in good condition.

MANDATORY (ISO IMS)COMPLIANCE) It is the responsibility of all employees to adhere to established ISO Integrated Management System that include Quality, LQA, Environment, Health, Safety & Risk Management, Policies, procedures, manual, SOPs etc and other applicable legal requirements.

Employee is expected and strongly encouraged to participate and contribute in the comprehensive risk management program, environmental impact assessment, prevention of pollution, energy and water saving initiatives, enhancement of quality and guest satisfaction and continual improvement plan.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Education: Diploma / Certificate in Electirical or Audio Visual

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in a similar role

Other: Should be able to communicate well in English.

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

      1. Ensure all AV equipments are clean and properly maintained
      2. Install, set up, and configure audio-visual equipment, including projectors, microphones, sound systems, lighting, video monitors, cameras, and video conferencing systems.
      3. Ensure all equipment is properly connected and functional before events or presentations.
      4. Operate and control audio-visual systems during events, ensuring high-quality sound and visuals.
      5. Manage live audio mixing, video switching, and lighting during events.
      6. Perform routine maintenance on AV equipment to ensure optimal performance.
      7. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with AV systems and equipment.
      8. Repair or arrange for the repair of faulty equipment.
      9. Provide technical support to event organizers, presenters, and users of AV equipment.
      10. Assist with setup and operation during live events, ensuring smooth delivery.
      11. Work closely with event coordinators, IT teams, and other stakeholders to meet the specific needs of each event.
      12. Collaborate with team members to manage the inventory of AV equipment
      13. Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, repairs, and maintenance schedules.
      14. Document setup configurations, operational procedures, and troubleshooting
      15. Be fully aware of recreation’s facilities, Evening programs and shows timings - concept
      16. Managing bands or singers sound check, and stage setup , singer riders.
