Carlisle is recruiting a Security Operations Centre Operator for Olympia Estate in London. The role focuses on monitoring CCTV, alarms, and access control to ensure safety for visitors, tenants, and staff.

You will work within a busy control room, maintaining situational awareness and responding swiftly to incidents. The ideal candidate will have an SIA CCTV licence, a calm, professional approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts including days, nights,

Qualifications

• SIA CCTV Licence is essential.
• 5-year checkable work history is required.
• Right to work in the UK is required.
• Previous control room or CCTV experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV, alarms, fire and access control systems.
• Respond to alarms, incidents and system alerts.
• Dispatch security or facilities teams when required.
• Coordinate response to fire alarms, medical incidents and security incidents.
• Maintain accurate incident logs and control room records.
• Communicate clearly with on-site teams using radio and telephone systems.
• Support event operations during high-footfall periods.
• Operate life-safety systems and conduct isolations/de-isolations as needed.
• Retrieve CCTV footage and prepare evidence when required.
• Escalate incidents to supervisors or management when necessary.
